THE CAST of Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance have put together a special lockdown routine designed to lift spirits while paying tribute to frontline workers.

In a video posted to Michael Flatley’s YouTube and Facebook channels, the cast can be seen showing off their moves with an isolation-themed version of their classic routine “Warlords”.

With the crew of the touring Irish dance production forced into isolation, the cast were required to improvise for the performance with everything from watering cans and oven gloves through to vacuum cleaners and even a few toilet rolls used as props.

The cast were required to film themselves at home, with all of the resulting clips edited together to create the final, thoroughly entertaining performance.

“The original idea came from Michael and Niamh," one of the organisers explained on Facebook.
