We know that each state is in charge of their elections. We also know that Red States have a GOP that has already Gerrymandered in majorities despite having less support. They are certainly capable of making an attempt to suppress vote by mail. They own the legislatures and administrative offices of those states.

Do you think that Kemp is going to allow vote by mail? DeSantis? the Governors of North and South Dakota? Do you think that the national GOP will not coordinate with state GOP to try to ensure that any measures to increase vote do not come to fruition? We nned ot anticipate this and make efforts to break down their plans.

is ask for an absentee ballot to get one you can mail in. You do not need a reason or excuse, it is the law I believe. While I love walking down to the little village church, talking with the ladies and voting it is still totally possible to always vote absentee.

There are a number of drive-up boxes where you can drop your ballots. Community Centers, firehouses and post offices all have these as do many community parks. Locations can be found on the interwebs.

if you didn't get it in the mail on time. Plus they will let you bring them to any polling place and drop off on election day.

I'm in Pima county, but I think it's the same statewide.

As for Kansas, that's fantastic! I hope they are able to do it in November also.

These include age, working all day, out of the area, sick or disabled and even lack of transportation in some states. Dems need to be aggressive in pushing voting by mail and can mail out the applications to get a mail in ballot to help voters. I live in Indianapolis and the Dem Party has mailed every registered Dem the mail ballot request form and a stamp envelope to return it. What could be easier?

All over the country, Republicans have spent decades working to suppress voter turnout they don't like. Some of their own might get caught up in their cheating, but they're willing to sacrifice a few dozen votes to suppress a few thousand votes.
