Republicans are needlessly forcing people to risk their lives.

?s=20

Bill Kristol

@BillKristol
So the Republican position is employers should get a waiver of liability if their workplace turns out to be unhealthy, but employees should lose unemployment benefits if they won't return to that unhealthy workplace. Will American capitalism survive the current Republican Party?

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) said in her state, it will be considered a “voluntary quit” if an employee refuses to return to work once businesses reopen, thereby losing access to unemployment benefits.

A similar situation will soon play out in Texas. https://mavenroundtable.io/theintellectualist/news/states-warn-that-workers-will-lose-unemployment-if-they-refuse-to-return-to-jobs-vbq1clsQ6USCAmgeoeym4w

what kind of world are we in when Bill Kristol starts making sense, and coming down on the side of the working people of this country and makes comments like this about the Republican Party?

Is he really starting to see the Republican party as a bunch of sociopath knuckle dragging assholes?

do I have to bypass peeing on his grave when he dies?

decisions decisions decisions

The jury is still out on this. But I got to say he is making some of the right noises.

The Republicans seem to need people to do it. They must have a really bad need for it since it trumps the death of their pseudo-constituents while feeding the insatiable need of the vested interests they firmly represent.

Isn't that their whole game? Exploit and impoverish the states they control, make sure big business and wealthy interests are taken care of like royalty, rely on federal welfare to the state to make up for the shortfalls they create. I do wonder if they laugh and snicker about the folks they are screwing over so badly behind closed doors? Well, I do recall something to that effect from Mitt Romney.

It works, time and time again. They seem to have a way to cast an enchanting spell on the naive and gullible to the point that they can even expect them, not to die for their country with valor and honor, but for an economy that has been rigged from the start and relies on expendable human resources to create great profit and wealth.

Republicans say one thing and do the other. Their followers, (that's an appropriate term) believe and stand by the former and ignore the latter. "Look, shiny thing! Quick, over there, communist liberal democrat enemy socialist taken freedumbs away, no guns allowed!"

As long as those who hold fealty to liars and crooks remain lap dogs for shifty, shady and conniving Republicans who are desperate to remain relevant and in power now, (though demographics indicate otherwise) what can we do or say other than to point this all out again and again?

I will bet that these cowards are all staying inside and away from social contact, while demanding everyone else risk their lives to reopen the economy.

They don't care and want people to suffer and give up thier lives, freedom and sense of Justice,in the name of contrived desperation foisted upon us by the capitalistic greed heads.

We don't have to keep feeding rich pigs, already people have found how to use the means of production and distribution to get food from Farmers to the hungry.

We need to reach out to each other shut out the greedy capitalists exploiting people may the 1% be damned.
