“Among voters who say Trump’s handling of coronavirus is a major factor, Biden leads 61% to 34%, but Trump is ahead among voters who call the pandemic a minor factor in the race and those who say it plays no role in how they will vote.”

I have been very satisfied with how Cooper has handled the Covid-19 thing. He was talking about reopening the state, but I noticed he pushed it back another week. I hope keeps doing that until it is a better time to reopen the state.

I would love to see NC go blue again, despite my crappy county going red in recent years and getting redder as time goes along since the old sheriff who ran the county died. My aunt and I used to campaign for him. His successor was a Democrat too and we have yet another Democratic sheriff now, but for some reason, the rest of the votes in my county keep going for Republican reps and senators and presidents. I don't really understand that.

Wow, I would really love to see NC go blue again.

5. I think Trump narrowly carried my county

and thanks to gerrymandering we have a far right state senator and a far right state rep in my part of the county but I think our local offices are mostly Democratic.

7. I'm in the new District #9.

I used to be in the split District #8. The gerrymandering at one time had this new district set up so about four Republican households in Rowan county were part of the district just to set it over the edge and make sure we never have any Democratic reps again. It was one of the ones that the courts said was racist "with surgical precision."

now will probably end up changing their minds if that suffering and death touch their lives.

11. This was my thought. Even if we get through comparatively "normal"

summer fairly okay, we're already expecting a bad, second-wave fall and winter.

Will cases have begun to rise here by November 3? In colder areas maybe? That's too early to coincide with the flu season that's expected to deliver a double tap to too many. If not, we'll be getting reports from the southern hemisphere and the news will be full of warnings and discussion of lockdowns.
