During a visit to a clinic he was asked to wear a face mask. He declined. He is utterly selfish. Like the rest of the far right evangelical mob they really do believe they are protected from this nasty, cause Jesus. Covidiots.
They are all Pence...
Watch the vid. It is perfect

(10,106 posts)The POS stupidly believes if either he or Pence are photographed wearing a mask in public, it would make him appear weak, show his followers COVID-19 is a serious problem and prove his bullshit snake oil cures don't work.

(24,362 posts)But watching him recently...well...check that....watching him since he got picked for VP.....that's better....has been to watch a man utterly committed to bootlicking and asslicking on a level rarely seen in American Politics.
Oh sure, we have had our fair share of high level ass kissers, but Pence is setting the bar pretty high.
One article I read a while back noted that as a fundy Christian, he holds a political position higher than any similarly equipped individual ever has, bar none. And the religious right ADORE him for it.
The extreme religious right in this country would love nothing more than to have a man like Pence as president. Some seem to think religious liberty is under attack now, but if he was president, whew boy!

(89 posts)This is truly one of the most appalling things this administration has done since this whole thing started. The mask is not to protect Pence, but to protect the people he comes in contact with. He could have COVID-19, and be asymptomatic. With both Trump and Pence refusing to wear masks, they are setting a terrible example for the whole country. And, yes, telegraphing their utter selfishness.

(11,348 posts)Pence shows his utter disregard for the welfare of others by refusing to wear a mask in this setting. This is distressingly common behavior among "Christians". It seems like the more devout they are, the worse they are as people. Some religion!

(34,341 posts)Mackinac Island where motor vehicles have been prohibited since 1898. The rules were good enough for Truman, JFK, Jerry Ford, GHW Bush, Bill Clinton, Darth Cheney, but pence is too precious and special to follow the rules.
It's been months and it still makes my blood boil. I think the Biden campaign should tailor an ad in Michigan reminding folks of that sacrilege.

'Pence has fouled our paradise': Furious Michiganders slam the vice president after his motorcade descended on car-free Mackinac Island

Most cars have been barred from Mackinac Island since 1898. MLive/YouTube, Rachel Premack/Business Insider
Motorized vehicles have been banned on one of Michigan's prized natural possessions since 1898 save for emergency and construction vehicles and the occassional news truck.
But on Saturday, eight cars descended upon Mackinac Island as part of Vice President Mike Pence's motorcade. Paul Egan of the Detroit Free Press was the first to capture and share the historic moment:
