I am waiting for the day, Trump blames his base...

for making him a king? What will do? I have a suspicion that they willingly say that they’re okay with that?

He always turns on his closest supporters, always, and usually worse than others. He will demand they support more corruption from him and his criminals he's always been a part of, or else he'll use his powers against them. They have no clue about his patterns.

But those who went along because of that "what have you got to lose" mindset - well, they are not okay with him anymore. I only have my elderly trumpish neighbor to use as an example - but he has had it, the coronavirus crisis was the last straw. According to him, trump gets no more chances and no more passes.
