Fauci from 4/9...... Fauci Slashes U.S. Death Projection to 60,000

We reached it today!

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-04-09/fauci-says-u-s-virus-deaths-may-be-60-000-halving-projections

“I believe we are going to see a downturn in that, and it looks more like the 60,000, than the 100,000 to 200,000” projected fatalities, he said. “But having said that, we better be careful that we don’t say: ‘OK, we’re doing so well we could pull back.’”

Sounds like we said “OK”

I think that is an optimistic, but potentially specious statement, even from an expert, when you consider the total botch job so far.

This is no time to play prophet or psychic. It's more like maybe, we hope, etc.

I am only skeptical because the sum total of what I have been reading makes that kind of prognostication look misleading and even dangerous when we are supposed to continue encouraging means to mitigate a more drastic outcome.

Even if we get a lull, there are indications that we could easily have more spikes or a major skyrocket effect this Fall. So, what is the point of throwing out numbers like that when nobody really knows and we should act "as if" it could be much, much higher? It is not like we have faced a viral onslaught like COVID-19 in a long time. It is turning out to be a different kind of beast.

Oh, the economy! The Lemmings Society and Guinea Pig Foundation are endorsing that.

And the owners of this country are joining in to promote this dangerous plan. All of the public health experts agree that relaxing restrictions is going to likely cause a spike and may reverse the good work done by some states to contain the damage. Data is baring this out. No one with a conscious is saying, "Okay". This is a political calculation not even a "mistake" by certain leaders. Trump is working with Stupid GOP states to push this deliberately.

We cannot allow any framing of this situation other than it is a deliberate political calculation by Trump and the GOP JUST to win in 2020. They do not care if people start getting sick an die as long as it is AFTER November. I would bet my house that they have gotten some doctors to help them project when the spike might happen to best project their chances in the election. If people go back to work, there will be a big bump up for the economy but the negative consequences will come later.

Tell that to the 60,000 newly dead Americans and their families.

Or is that what this administration calls collateral damage?

He is still too easy on Agolf Twitler.

Fuck that.

Stop sugar coating things for manbaby Donny Dumbfuck.

Tell us the unvarnished, un-spun, truth.

He is a disappointment to me. Sorry.
