UK had a jump from 20k to about 26k deaths because they were counting only the hospital deaths and not the care home deaths. If this 60k deaths for the US is only hospital deaths I shudder to think what the real number is.

The number from WH projection model listed it 72k - 74k deaths by August 4th. We are still hitting 2000 deaths a day in the US. We might hit that number next week.
