I think the Democrats are finally besting the Trump gang.

Cuomo is the leader we needed for this fight. Man, he is not backing down an inch. He just laid into Mitch today. He said this is turning into a political brawl and he is absolutely right. I think he has had enough. And he really knows how to use the bully pulpit.

And so have Nancy and Schumer.

Trump has got himself all tangled up in his lies and fake facts. He is finally backed against the wall. His bullshitting has finally caught up with him.

I know I've had enough of this.

2. I love your optimism. I wish I had that.

But whenever I see this kind of headline I cringe. There's another one on DU now too "Here's Proof Trump Knows He's Losing".

Maybe some need to hear that at least once in awhile, or they'd go nuts. I understand.

But why I don't like them is my heart jumps when I see headlines like this. I so despise Trump and his family and administration appointees, that my mind immediately races to a hope that someone has found the real smoking gun against him. And the body laying on 5th Ave.

But we know now that Trump has a thick solid wall of support, even if in the minority. And they never bent when he bragged about grabbing women, assaulting them. And then through every impeachable, criminal action. Every petty meanness. Every dumbfounding dangerous proclamation. That unwavering support + cheating, will make me be on pins and needles until November. (Even until January as I'd still be uneasy that the GOP wouldn't try something truly asinine to disrupt a smooth handover and tie Biden's hands with last minute legislation)

3. I forget which show it was.

But it was in the last couple of weeks. James Carville was being interviewed, and I think he hit it on the head. He said that people just weren't going to vote for 4 more years of this. The thought of a totally unfettered Trump is just plain scary.

4. It's getting obvious that Trump is having trouble answering

even simple questions.

What I am feeling now is a rising righteous anger. We have had 60 000 deaths because he screwed up royally. And people have every reason to be so angry.

This is the first time in 3 years that I have begun to feel more optimistic.

Most of the crappy stuff the Republicans were doing didn't affect people's day to day lives. But his ignorance and complete indifference is killing people now. This is affecting everyone's daily lives in horrible ways. And the awful comments about the value of older people's lives is rotally pissing off a lot of people.

He isn't horrible for just the left. He and his cabal are horrible for everyone.

No one wants to die from plain stupid.

5. Cuomo eats Republicans for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cuomo, if he were our VP candidate in debate with Pence, would chew him up, spit him out.

6. I do NOT want to trivialize the Covid pandemic, or the personal and familial tragedies.

I bleed for a lot - a LOT - of the stories I see, and there are a lot of them. I get all of that. I am empathetic and tender-hearted. Really. So I don't want this to appear ghoulish or disrespectful.

OTOH, this could hardly have worked out better for Cuomo and the rest of the Blue Crew that will feel the benefit of him chewing on Retrumplican ass. He is dialing up the savage, and it is beyond time for it. The bigger the spectacle he can create, the better it is for...well, everyone, except this crowd of malevolent clowns.

The only people that will not be able to see the correctness of his positions, and the obvious megafailure of the administration are people you are NEVER going to reach on a month of Sundays.

He is KILLING it.

7. Cuomo won't be on the ticket, that's true. However he will be

perhaps the most formidable "attack dog" any candidate has ever had. He is a gifted orator who will get right to the point then drive it home.

He is loaded with justifiable rage, he has moral authority which is backed up by his actions, he has no F**** left to give, and his famiy was impacted so he knows what all victims and their loved ones have had to endure.

I look forward with great anticipation to whatever role Cuomo has at the National Convention. I am sure he will have a major speaking role - perhaps follow in Mario's footsteps as Keynote Speaker.

8. I like Cuomo a lot. People are listening to his

daily briefs because he is telling the truth. They can trust him.

Abd he isn't one bit afraid of the Trump gang. He is a true leader and a feisty New Yorker.
