(40 posts)I hope a reporter would ask #45 if he feels that the 12,000 deaths under the previous administration was a total disaster and that was over a period of 18 months, what does he have to say about his administrations death toll of 60+ thousand in less than 3 months.

(11,726 posts)Of course Trump would whine about being treated unfairly by the "fake news". The reality is that he made a specific claim comparing his handling of COVID-19 to how President Obama and VP Biden handled H1N1. I would hope that the reporter would ask him to explain how losing 12,000 over a year an a half is a disaster, but losing 60,000 and counting within a 3 month period earns a 10 rating. Trump has lost 5 times more people in 1/6th the time frame. I would repeat that. "You have lost 5 times more people in 1/6th the time period, how can you, with any credibility call President Obama's response a disaster and your response a 10?" 5 times as many in 3 months than President Obama lost in 18 months.
