in such a humiliating way that he'll be so embarrassed that he won't be able to show his face in public for a long time! That is, assuming he's not in prison by then!

but I hope he dies from a massive coronary or a stroke before then. Does that make me a bad person?

Ahhhh, I don't really care. When it comes to Donald Trump and the GOP, the gloves - as well as all decorum - have come off.

Perhaps Guantanamo can serve for all of them and the top (r)epuglicons. Oh, save room for the RW mouthpieces and their funders. (Didn't one of them say that he'd like to be waterboarded?)

When we try to divorce the worst among us from the rest of us, it stops us from asking, "How can we prevent people from turning out so fucked up? His dad was a complete piece of shit. His mom was negligent and uncaring. Trump was a messed up kid, violent from a young age. Instead of setting limits in a loving but firm way, they shipped his ass of to a reform school. Trump has been the way he is since his youth. Howard Stern, who has had his own problems, told Trump that he should really try therapy to work on himself as Stern gained a lot of insight and says it improved his life. Trump doesn't think anything is wrong with him. He thing EVERY OTHER person in the world is messed up and he is okay.

Always has been. Always will be.

Is it horrifying? Yes. Everything about Trump is horrifying.

Yet his followers think he's great. He would walk over their dead bodies to get what he wants and they would think it an honor. So much so they'd happily die just so he could.

Trump is a sick fuck and so are his groupies.

Republicans have convinced their voters that dying for the wealth of others is the true definition of freedom.

That their one check away from homelessness and lack of healthcare is the American way of life that makes America just so special.

That instead of actually helping people for the long haul during a pandemic, it's AOK to let people die as a campaign stunt to get reelected - and they have convinced these morons to not only accept this but to cheer their own demise as the patriotic thing to do.

It's all horrifying. All of it.

The body count is irrelevant

He is a true sociopath and psychopath and malignant narcissist, on top of being a lazy Fucking Moron

Imagine how much damage he could do if he worked at it and could read. He would be worse than Hitler. I guess we’re lucky in a way that he is so fucking lazy and stupid.

In 1970 I knew a guy who lost two brothers in Vietnam both were drafted. A third brother came back shot up he finally got a college deferment.I got lucky when I failed a flight physical in ROTC. The promise was learn to fly a helicopter you could serve in Germany not go to Vietnam. Half that class ended up dead flying in Germany given the training and flying in Germany was more dangerous than flying in Vietnam. The flight physical made me 4F, not my flat feet. Not at all sorry I missed out on travel.

I wouldn't even wait for November. I'd just resign now. I know Trump won't do that because that is not who he is, but he should. Or at the very least, he should do what GWB seemed to do following 9/11 and really get on board with things that he should have been more attentive to before 9/11, at least right up until the point that he weirdly decided to switch gears and go after Iraq. I wasn't a fan of him at all and didn't vote for him in 2000 and would not have voted for him in 2004 but I was mostly with him during his initial response to 9/11 and felt like he was trying hard to address the problem that he had (we now know) ignored prior to 9/11 and trying to be empathetic to the victims' families and survivors of that terrible event. But Trump is not even capable of THAT.
