Hey IOWA WORKERS!! Rob Hogg coming through for you.

You know how Gov. Reynolds is threatening Iowans with losing unemployment if they don't go back to work?

Well, it turns out Iowa law provides unemployment if a worker leaves due to "unsafe," "intolerable" or "detrimental" working conditions.

Iowa Admin. Code 871-24.26(2), (4).
Gov. Reynolds can threaten all she wants, but if you can show that your work was "unsafe," "intolerable" or "detrimental," and you give notice to your employer that is the reason you don't return to work, you still might be able to get unemployment benefits. You can call . . .
Your attorney for advice or the Iowa Legal Aid Hotline, which is available to assist with COVID-19 questions, at 800-332-0419 between 9 am and 4 pm weekdays.

Cause the owners, the rich and the oligarchs do not care about the dead bodies of workers

I hope Texas has a similar law. This is like watching fellow Americans being forced to march to their deaths. The people of this country may need to mass strike. Don’t work before it’s safe and don’t buy from any company who sees Americans as merely fodder for their money mills.
