There is a move to get rid of absentee voting. I need your help.

The face masks are slavery idiots are all over the place bitching about mail in voting. Supposedly one person voted for their dead relative (and was prosecuted) so now the Magats want to cut more people out of the ability to vote.

I'm compiling a list of people who use absentee voting because it is not possible to go vote in person.

Elderly shut ins
Disabled
Their caregivers

Vote precinct workers

Truck drivers
Anyone who travels for work.
Airline workers - pilots and flight attendants.

People who work long hours
nurses, doctors, grocery, agricultural and factory workers.
firefighters and police officers.

Cancer patients and other immuno-compromised people.
And their caregivers.

That's about all I can think of, can you guys add to the list? Thanks in advance.

1. Absentee voting

ensures a paper trail, avoids any intimidation tactics you might find at the polling stations and is efficient for both the voters and the vote counters.
To me even more important is the convenience, time saved, time you can devote to studying the often incomprehensible ballot initiatives.

It just makes sense.

can vote by mail in those states.

5 states conduct voting by mail.

16 states require an excuse to vote by mail under absentee voting. Those excuses could be interpreted as allowing "isolation."

Point is, unlikely GOPers will get away with limiting absentee voting, but I guess we've gotta stay vigilant.

Seriously -

Elections are managed by the State. The Federal Government cannot override the way all elections are run in a state.

In NJ - our County Clerk takes direction from Trenton - not Washington DC.

All there is is Trump ranting about something; no State is attempting to eliminate absentee ballots.

They usually can’t plan their week out because of being on call and finding out their work hours at the last minute, or they hold multiple jobs.
