Karen Pence on Fox saying Pence didn't know he was supposed to wear a mask

The @MayoClinic told reporters it “shared the masking policy with the VP’s office" before his arrival. Karen Pence says Mike Pence didn't find out about it until after he left. So either someone is lying or Pence's staff didn't do its job.

I mean, sure, WE'D all love to see it on youtube, but I have to think that the receptionist on duty at the time would have been scared shitless to have been out of a job fifteen seconds later after trying it.

Maybe assuming everything Pence did would have been cleared with their superiors, etc.

The Secret Service wouldn't have to make a show of force, because no one employee would use force to try to deny Pence entry. Pence is dense enough to not even have asked if there WAS a rule. Had he been informed in advance, I'm sure he WOULD have put on a mask. After all, by being the only one without a mask, it made him look like a dork in photos going nationwide within minutes, and did him more far damage than acquiescing to a rule would have.

that he was the only person there without mask, any normal person would have stopped, asked for a mask before taking another step.

Otherwise he looks like the kid who got invited to a costume party, only to realize he was the only one wearing a costume.
