(32,264 posts)Arkansas is going to start opening restaurants May 11 with distancing restrictions, but I wonder how many will actually open their dining rooms.

(12,286 posts)I managed a fine dining restaurant for 13 years.
I still have many friends in the business.
I feel for them. I really do.
But I know I wouldn't want to dine in any restaurant until there is a vaccine. I don't know how fair it is for servers to be subjected to interacting with the public in such close quarters. Masks or not.

(29,534 posts)I know we're supposed to get takeout to support them during the lockdown, but the restaurant experience is what matters to me. I can cook much of the same food at home, and takeout is never quite hot enough for me.
