Personally think it would be good for Biden. Libertarians usually vote republican. But i have seen opposite opinions.

People willing to vote L were never going to vote D.

(10,415 posts)Amash is a far-right teabag crackpot who happened to make a few statements that were on the correct side of a couple issues like impeachment.
He's still a far-right asshole. I would see a moderate like Willard Rmoney as more of a threat to Biden that what Amash presents. A moderate never-tRump republicon might consider voting for a moderate democrat, but the kind of person Amash appeals to would likely vote for MF45 anyway.

My guess is he will be a non-factor for either candidate, unable to garner enough votes to matter.

This time around, however Amash is more likely to draw more never-trumper Repugs who might otherwise have voted for Biden. I think Amash running is a bad thing. Jesse Ventura on a Green ticket will be even worse, as he will not only draw some never Trumpers but will draw a shedload more Bernie and other leftie voters from Biden than a no-name like Howie Hawkins would have.
