As far as I can discern, the Intell community told tRump or put into a possibly unread presidential Briefing in November that something was happening in Wuhan's province with some unknown disease. I get the impression that it was not an alarm, but a heads-up. It makes sense to me that it would have been shared with a few allies.

However, I'm pretty certain that very early in January he was told that there was a serious epidemic in that area. That would have been enough of an alarm for a real President to put a team onto tracking it and preparing to prepare. In other words, within a week there should have been a plan that could have been immediately put into action by the end of January when the first case in the US was known.


Instead we had the 5 lost weeks from Feb 2 through March 11. The time between the Chhyna travel ban and the Europe travel ban (but not UK). In between, he appointed Pence and banned Iran travel. Oh and he had many rallies and much golf in the lost 5 weeks.

Frankly there wasn't much action two weeks before (following first US case) and a week or two after.

It is fashionable for RW posters to say they got something in November or December. But they can't simultaneously hold the position that they knew what was going on but their genius tRump was hoodwinked by the Chinese in the same period.
