trump could care less about any spreading of the virus because he wants to pr it using false numbers claiming he's doing great because he knows he's losing, so lie, deny, corrupt , and promote it as he's done great. The American people aren't believing his BS and lies anymore, especially on this virus, and all his previous lies he's told on this. This will fail badly for trump , and make the recovery longer and the economic impact worse. trumps losing from his failure with this virus.

All the deaths, unemployment, debt, lines of people waiting for food? ALL because he did not do his job, read the daily alerts about the coming threat. He was NEVER qualified for the WH, and the gop knew it. We all knew it, yet they still treat this total failure as a legitimate president. He is desperately trying to blame the entire episode on China. The only WALL he should get is a wall of deaths from the virus, like the Viet Nam wall, only longer. He is the reason the country is in a death spiral right now. He is mentally ill, and still pretending to be a leader.

will have us come back to work until June, and even then it will be on a staggered schedule so we can keep a 6-foot distance, which means that we will be working from home every other day (for those of us who can).

People here in Boston are taking this very seriously compared to many other places and I don't think they are going to be rushing out to stores, restaurants, sporting events, bars, etc. for a while until they see how this plays out. We know that this virus has not run its course yet.

I'm very glad I live in a very blue city in a very blue state where we don't have a bunch of MAGA assholes running around trying their hardest to spread the virus as quickly as they can.

It makes me very sad, but there is very little that we can do about it. There are too many greedy, ignorant politicians that care more about money than about saving human lives and they will soon see that their carelessness will cost them both of those things. A surge in Covid-19 outbreaks and deaths will further depress the economy. You can't force people to go out and spend when they fear for their lives.

in the WH was a great idea. Own the libs, they said. They all knew he was unqualified, but did not care as long as their rich donors got huge tax breaks. Well, NOW look what he has wrought. Total disaster. The gop is to blame for this fool in the WH who could not take time to read daily briefings, warning about this virus. It breaks my heart seeing the cars lined up for miles, waiting for food. People worrying about paying mortgages and other bills. Put the blame where it belongs, squarely on tRump and the gop.

That only elderly and the already sick can die from this. (Like those people are disposable). They’re not grasping how ferociously contagious and capriciously fatal this is. Yes, Trumpies, healthy people well under 60 CAN and WILL die. But as usual with them, it’s not happening to their own families or friends so it’s not a problem.

On edit: they’re also not grasping that many of those that survive are deathly sick for 2 or 3 weeks, FAR worse than any flu, and could easily have permanent health problems we don’t know about yet.

but are uninsured. I read about a man in Wisconsin who went for a test, after a doctor recommended it. He received a bill for over $1,700 for a drive up nasal swab test. The bill originally was over $2,000 but they reduced it since he had no insurance. If a young person is out of a job (thanks tRump) worrying about paying bills, buying food, do you think they want to add a medical bill to that pile? This particular patient had bronchitis, not Covid, thankfully.

Just south, in Rockford Illinois, they are testing FREE. The explanation from the hospital in Janesville Wi. was that the swabs are tested for more than Covid. Knowing he had no insurance, why expand the tests?

How do I know this?

I had a telemed appt. yesterday with the health care provider I see.

When the appt. was over I was told that "We'll do this again in 3 mos.".

It is a Federally run health clinic.

They must know something more than others working for the Federal gov't don't seem to know, or do they?
