That is all.

(25,428 posts)You understand that there are two Joes in the conversation, correct? One of them is our presidential candidate, and some on the left refer to him in similar terms.
Context-less posts like this accomplish nothing, but feel free to continue them.

(53,947 posts)She was a journalist. She did her job right. Joe was professional and handled the interview properly.
I don't want fluff pieces from MSNBC. I expect journalism from them and that's what I got..

(68,469 posts)helped elect Trump last time. I was willing to give them a chance but no more. Joe Biden on the other hand did great... Mika with her arms folded in a blatant picture of hostility gave no indications of fairness-she had already decided on his guilt clearly. She was rude, unprofessional and a disgrace to journalist and women too.

(53,947 posts)I'm not a huge fan of Mika Brzezinski, but based on its own merits, I saw rigorous questioning on an important question that left no wiggle room. I wish they would do the same to Trump. I'm glad that they did do that with Biden. He handled himself well and put all of my concerns to rest.
I'm not scared of the truth and I'm glad we have a nominee who's able to stand up to tough questions.
Demsrule86
(68,469 posts)merely help Trump. Tara Reade is not believable. And Mika was a disgrace in my view.

(2,795 posts)The Trump show means ratings and $. They will most likely try it again this time around. I bet later in the year when it gets closer to the election they give up on coronavirus coverage or anything negative to the Orange Monster, and start with "OMG! Joe Biden for president???" type bullshit.

(11,132 posts)knowledge on the part of the reader. If one were in a calculus II class the teacher would rightfully expect you to have an understanding of calculus I. They wouldnt waste the time of the other class members putting their lessons in context for a student that never took calculus I! They would tell that student to take I first and then come back afterwards.

(51,308 posts)So a post that says, wow, way to go Amy or some such makes perfect sense.
Ive seen posts just like that.
Many of us have been here a long time and have that basic knowledge, but many newbies do not. Its simply polite to put things in context imo. Ymmv.

(6,829 posts)Get it? I'm guessing you haven't been on here long enough to know it but cwydro has.
(It was the mother of all context-free posts on DU and still remains so).

(5,268 posts)They seem to keep raising the bar of what Biden must say and do by stating that all of his National Archives personnel records and all of his U. of Delaware papers should be searched and scrutinized for any possible hint or allegation. Scarb and John Heileman are talking as if Biden set such a high bar by defending Christine Blasey Ford that he can't deny this accuser's honesty since he believed Ford.
Reminds me of how after Hillary's hours of interviews and answering questions and exoneration by FBI, still the media pundits were never satisfied and kept on saying that she needed to say more or explain better etc etc.
