The media is trying way too hard to prove a sexual assault allegation on Joe Biden from 27 years ago. They should be ashamed to even bring it up.
I guess they just gave up on the 17 sexual allegations against Donald J Trump? It was just too tough for them to investigate.
Yes, but 17 wrongs do not make 1 right, seems to be their argument?
They should crawl in a hole and hide.
Even if it was true, it would be inappropriate to investigate at this time in the manner they are doing it. They act as if it is a buffet of some sort. Oh, that one is too hard. Let's investigate this one from 27 years ago and let the others slide. We'll pick the low-hanging fruit.
No, if you can't do your job and get to the bottom of the allegations against Donald Trump, get off Joe Biden's back. You are embarrassing yourselves.

Bet Mika had big ratings this AM talking to Joe about Reade.
And now she doesn't have to feel silly about NOT bringing it up as/if it gets more traction.

(32,632 posts)create a perception. Ratings measure that influence. Get rid of competition, you have more influence, and can better control what you want people to see. There is a reason why some stories are not told, and others are told on an hourly basis. It has nothing to do with 'ratings'.

(5,969 posts)that there's something there against Biden but Trump is worse when in fact her claims are so obviously fake.
This kind of defense is not needed when we only need to point at the ludicrous claims she's made. Those need to get demolished first.

(5,969 posts)of he said she said where we have to weigh the arguments. She changed her story from shoulder touching to rape within a year. That should have been the end of it. It's a joke that the national news media is even treating this as anything serious.
She's also purposely vague regarding all aspects that could give Biden anything of substance to address and to defend himself. She wouldn't even name him in her stupid police report.

(112,491 posts)In my opinion, they should not be reporting on it. It is nothing more than a spurious allegation. It is not news.

(112,491 posts)A lot of stories are not printed about public figures because they do not have evidence or corroboration.

(4,060 posts)I think the timing is good in regard to the impact on the campaign. This will become a dealt with issue. Trump's continued mismanagement of COVID-19 and the related bodycount, along with his guaranteed showboating, bloopers and general foolishness will quickly move the news cycle on.
