I never thought I'd see the day! Joe Scarborough amiably had economist Paul Krugman on MJ!

Paul was talking about his new book "Arguing with Zombies" in which his reference to zombies is most Republicans. Joe said "Of which I am one!" in a very self deprecatory way. I could barely believe my ears and eyes! After ALL these years, Joe's admitting he was WRONG about repukes and their economic views!

Krugman was totally gracious and gently advanced his own economic views, which have proven RIGHT, time after time after time!

Once of his basic arguments is that all this puffery from the repukes about running up our debt and how the sky is falling is and has been wrong. We borrow in our own economy and that makes a difference.

I haven't read Krugman's last book but I've read previous ones and he is a strong liberal minded Democrat (altho he never talks about his own political labels).

Well, another sinner brought into the light! Welcome Joe Scarborough!

(Let's see how long it lasts...)

I think Joe was truly unhappy, being outed as a goddam fool or whatever, he did admit he was wrong. I think Mika had something to say about it. Joe was humbled in front of the mighty Nobel Prize winning economist...

never forget no matter how contrite these "I've seen the light" zombies are now they were the ones who cleaned Trump up and merchandized him as something other than the piece of crap he is..I don't want Joe's (and his kind) contrition ...I want a forever on his knees apology for every day Trump is in the White House...

audience.

I think the Krugman interview is Joe's big breakthrough. He's seeing the light (or at least hearing the birdies sing) and he knows his gig is over unless he gets smart. If he doesn't, he and his show are toast.

BTW, he gave up his Princeton job to teach at a less "esteemed" college where he would teach children of working folks instead of rich alumns. I give him major chops for that. He practices what he preaches.
