Take that o the bank - and get out the vote. You don't have 63,000 and counting dead and get away with that.

Or at least that's where they're lost.

Hillary's FBI investigation came to ahead in the summer and it's something that hanged over her head the rest of the campaign.

Obama was quick to define Romney as an out of touch elitist whose company, Bain, ravaged community (those Bain ads dominated the narrative in the summer of 2012).

The swiftboating of Kerry took place mostly in the summer.

I think the campaign narrative settles, beyond wild shockers, around July/August.

not about "all" presidential elections. Most people make their decisions about how well things are going before summer of election year.

3 1/2 years in and opinions about an incumbent are pretty well etched in stone.

What will eventually doom Trump's re-election will come in the fall, when people get their 401K statements and find out their retirement accounts have gone down. The statements for the quarter ending September 30, 2020 will be received in early October, which will be within 30 days of the election day.

If the coronavirus issue hasn't been satisfied by mid-October, that too, will doom Trump's re-election chances.
