24. I don't think Michelle is wrong. And I really really wish it WOULD work.

If the US was a country with an unbiased fact-based MSM, across the board. Including daytime radio. Or the Republican party was not so criminally corrupted. (Can't get rid of all the sleaze in politicians, but back to some sense of decorum and decency at least)

But there are just too many dark forces working against Democrats now. Who have only proliferated and grown in the last 10 years. Obama's conceding on extending W's tax cuts for the wealthy, increased the Koch Brothers wealth substantially.....so they could use it to fund super pacs against Democrats.

I think there is also something that rings of weakness to a lot of independents that might vote Blue. We come off as naive rather than noble.

Its like after the war has already started, we are still turning our swords into ploughshares hoping they'll notice. Meanwhile they are turning ploughshares into swords. Even raiding our new ploughshares and using them too if they can.
