(9,897 posts)there is no difference at all...the GOP lacks any kind of creativity to create a NEW AstroTurf campaign when the previous one essentially cost Obama the last 6 years in office with an obstructionist Congress hell bent on wasting time and running out the clock...

(13,630 posts)about the TARP bailouts and may have ended up with people marching on Wall Street. Then the big RW operators swooped and coopted it. Turned it into basically a new republican campaign brand. We had the Koch brothers, Dick Armey leading Freedomworks and Hannity and other FOX "News" promoting and hosting their rallies. That wasn't how it all started out.

(32,626 posts)have relaxed their gun laws, paving the way for the added oomph of weapons in the state house. Behind the scenes, organizing is probably much of the same, but with added emphasis from Russia, and whoever.

And to think Russo started with a bank of Rolidexes way back when Reagan was a mere governor.

When Trump urged Michigan Governor Whitmer to "negotiate" with the armed goons who invaded the state Capitol Building, she should have replied that, unlike Trump, she doesn't negotiate fe with TERRORISTS.
