13. My wife went to bed early that night, I stayed up to watch the returns....

It started changing about 10 PM, a half hour or so later I was despondent, but still hopeful. By 11 PM it was over. I went into our bedroom bawling, telling my wife incredulously - "he won". That's all.

Didn't sleep all night, or for three or four nights. I couldn't watch ANY news until February.

Being from New York, we were familiar with how bad and insane trump was, I knew the next four years would be a disaster. But I didn't expect it to be this bad.

I hope we make it through the next six months.
