I think I read from posters here that California should secede. Oops, looks like some of your citizens might not agree.

But wow, I’m learning volumes about Michigan, California, Maine...already knew about Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, and PA lol.

We’ve got a sane governor here in NC. There’ve been some pop-up protests, but good golly, nothing like this crap I’m seeing out there in Michigan and CA - and the beaches last week, whoa.

This virus thing is an eye-opening experience for where the morons live. Guess what? They live EVERYWHERE in this country.

but some states are infamous. Whenever I see these things I think of the "Brooks Brothers Riot", and the information in the Mueller Report. These 'protests' are being funded and organized by ???

However! In blue states, they are obviously a pretty small contingent, no matter how loud and obnoxious they appear. I always remind myself of that when I see those morons acting up here in Massachusetts. They're only about a third of the 40% overall that is right leaning.

The urban areas have been hardest hit now, because this is where diversity and commerce happen. Rural areas are far more insulated/isolated about the reality. They watch Fox News for their political validation and misinformation. So, they will be doomed to learn the lessons of urban areas all over again.

Lets check back in a couple of weeks and see how many are still protesting when they are being intubated.

Our town is pretty much half and half when it comes to political leanings. Most of our residents have common sense, but we've had 72 infected and 4 deaths so far. Our NH neighboring town is in one of their hardest hit counties (Rockingham), btw, so we need to work together to get a handle on this thing.

Could look it up, but I think it's in a pretty rural part of NH. I live in Central Maine and I see the divide all of the time here.

Doesn't strike me as a rural area, given the proximity to So. Maine and MA.....thought there was a Rockingham County that's 1/2 way up Rte 16. My bad.

How many Democracies function with anti-socialists as a majority? Turns out, none. Do we need to rerun Germany/Japan 1930's to get this point across to the politically stupid?

"The Great Shake Theory" postulates that when God created America he grabbed it by its Maine and shook -- and everything loose rolled into California.

As a lifelong resident of the Golden State, we see proof of this on a disturbingly regular basis.

Best to remember, though, as we see such scenes, that there are over 40 million people in the state who did not go to the beach today, or feel the need to agitate in favor of putting their neighbors in danger.
