Would Trump try to "sleight of hand" remdesivir with hydroxychloroquine in people's memories?

"I'm pleased to announce that Gilead now has a EUA (emergency use authorization) from the FDA for remdesivir -- and you know what that is, because that's been the hot thing also in the papers and in the media for the last little while," the president said.

I just wouldn't put it past him. He pumped up hydroxychloroquine, and it turned out to be nothing much or even harmful. Remdesivir, a new drug with some scientific merit comes up, and Trump might just try to act like remdesivir was what he was talking about all along. A lot of people won't remember the drug names. They'll just think, "You know, Trump was talking about some drug, and it was in the news a lot. And look, it turned out to be a good drug!"

And with oil going bust and tax revenue falling off a cliff that is $2,000,000 this poor state needed desperately.

But dumb dumb Stitt sucked up to his lardship and spent money on his pig in a poke magic elixir

Because we’re stupid that way apparently. 🤬
