We know we're getting soaked. We just don't know how badly yet.
And if they have their way, we won't know until after the election.

I hope I’m wrong.

I was not so much appalled by those idiots in Michigan because of their guns (though that was insane) but more appalled by the way they all stood beside one another without masks and screaming.

Never mind the evangelical church gatherings, the house party videos out of Chicago, the Hasidic funeral in NYC, the dumbass white people on beaches everywhere. It’s really mind blowing. Idiots of every color, faith, persuasion - there’s going to be a mighty toll paid down the line.

11. Our local park and beach has been open the whole time.

People come here to walk, very few actually do any beach activities other than sitting quietly at a picnic table for a bit, always far from others. I’m one of them, and I appreciate the opportunity to have a park where we can get some fresh air and exercise. But I recognize that we are a closed community and all locals who respect the seriousness of this time... we all wear masks when grocery shopping, and no one is partying. It’s quite somber here, even at the beach.
