Ok, so we can't jail everyone who violates a stay-at-home order and fining people who are

out of work doesn't make much sense. So, what penalty should be imposed on the scofflaws? I have a suggestion.

Police should "ticket" violators who refuse to wear masks, gather for large parties or disobey police orders to disperse. One ticket would have no penalty just because everyone gets to be stupid once. But, the second ticket would disqualify the offender from any government stimulus or bailout payments. The third would mean that if the offender became infected with the Corona virus, they would go to the end of the line for treatment---behind all law-abiding patients. They would get a hospital bed or oxygen or a ventilator only if no one who had followed the recommended protocols needed it at the same time.

These people claim that there is no reason for these "infringements" on their liberty; that only people who "were gonna die anyway" would be in danger. So, they should have no problem with these "tickets", right?

Let them put up or shut up.

think would be a fair deterrent and punishment for theses self absorbed, irresponsible assholes. Maybe I am being influenced from watching Rosemary's Baby again last night.

But the third is not how health care works.

I have friends in health care; they just don’t think like that. They save lives. Period.

I do understand where you’re coming from. These are frustrating times.

Or at the very least, as you said, get to the end of the line. And then actually follow through.

Imagine how much hell they will go through from their spouse and children once they find out nobody in the family gets any financial help from the government.

How would you propose they claw back the money from those who already received the stimulus?
