This should slam the door on whether Reade filed a complaint against Biden at the time

Pretty clear that no complaint was filed at the time.

In short, this is the EXACT timeframe Reade's complaint was supposedly made.

Right in the middle of the largest Government Ethics Scandal since Watergate, with thousands of interviewers scouring the capital looking for a scoop.
So, in order for that record to disappear - Biden would've had to:
a) convince an independent panel in no mood for misconduct to not turn it over to the ethics board
b) convince them that 100% of the documentation is personal rather than agency property
c) hope Tara doesn't also tell the cacophony of reporters eager for a Packwood scoop that she was also harrassed
d) or doesn't report it to the open inquiry panel presiding in the senate.
e) hope that his conduct wasn't recorded on the massive CCTV network in Capitol hill
f) hope that OPM somehow loses any and all agency records of the complaint and
g) hope that as chairperson of the Senate Judiciary Committee, his records aren't audited by GAO regularly (narrator: they are.)

a sexual assault. What has she got to gain out of all this. She will not win any friends. She will end up being as unpopular as Linda Tripp who recently passed away. It all has the stench of the Bernie Sanders campaign.

It's especially hard to believe it when the alleged victim times their claim with the alleged perpetrator's rise in public prominence.

If Biden's accuser really believed she was assaulted, she should have raised holy hell at the time when she felt her claim to authorities weren't taken seriously.

Secondly, at a minimum, why didnt she raise this when Biden ran for VP. What prompted her to do it now?

We've had plenty of examples in the last few years of assault victims attempting to seek justice for crimes that are years and years old, up to decades old. As we've seen, it's not very effective. Thankfully, this current attempt hasn't gained traction. Sometimes supposed victims can make shit up due to bad motives with nefarious goals.

I understand reasons why victims might choose to not report assaults contemporaneously. They can be complicated.

The story expects us to believe that one of the more prominent politicians in US history raped a woman in broad daylight in a public hallway in the US Capitol Building. Then, in the following 27 years while he served as a US Senator, Chair of the Judiciary Committee, and as Vice President nobody in the most rumor and gossip filled city in the world ever heard a peep about it. That's what this story expects us to believe.

Remind me when the last time Washington DC kept a secret for 30 years.

we on Kauai were all still recovering from a devastating Hurricane and I had no idea that went on.

Of course I've heard of Bob Packwood since.

But the onus has to be on the person making the allegation to substantiate it.

We cannot toss every candidate for public office in the waste bin because a single person makes an unsubstantiated claim. That would become GOP modus operandi. If there are 25 women making similar claims, that's a different story and what Trump is facing. But that isn't what Joe Biden is facing.

I need to see some solid evidence like many in the media. Tara has failed to produce it. In fact, a number of details in her story are sketchy from what I've seen so far. She either needs to produce something solid or go away. And the media should follow suit.

When the media doesn't, ask them what they found out about Trump when they pursued the angle they are with Biden. There's a double standard going on here.

In one of Trump's cases, we have a victim who got too darn scared.
In another, it's still being litigated.
In another, a DNA test will answer a lot of questions but Trump's avoiding that.
etc

Trump's on tape admitting doing something similar to what Tara accuses Biden of doing.
