New information for me and others this morning. Direct deposits are scheduled for this Wednesday, May 6th. We were able to enter our payment information on April 24th.
If you have given up checking the site, perhaps it is time to look again.

(4,783 posts)If you enter your bank information in Get My Payment any day until noon on Tuesday, your payment date will be available beginning the following Saturday in Get My Payment.
If you enter your bank information after noon on Tuesday, your payment date should be available beginning the Saturday after next in Get My Payment.
There may be times when your payment may be sent by mail because the payment was already in process before the bank information was entered. If this is the case, then typically it will take up to 14 days to receive the payment (standard mailing time).

(11,288 posts)last week. I'm so sad I haven't gotten my gift announcement letter from King Trump yet.
Still don't know what to do with that.

(102,266 posts)and abbreviation versus fully written out. More than three dozen times. When I read how many supposedly ineligible people were getting them and I can not, I got a 36 hours migraine-complete with nausea and vomiting that is just now starting to clear.
I'm at a loss as to what to do now.

(52,161 posts)I had to use two different softwares to efile in 2018 and 2019. My 2018 had no space, my 2019 had a space. For awhile the website was demanding my 2018 info then it was my 2019 info. Hope this helps.

(102,266 posts)My previous address was a PO BOx and I had gotten correspondence from IRS there, which I have inputted based on that previous address and how they inputted it. They should have my current address, but....?

(102,266 posts)I have entered the old address exactly as the IRS inputted it in a correspondence to me from years past.

(10,820 posts)I tried using my previous address that was on my tax returns and got nothing. I tried my new address and it worked. Did you do the post office change of address?

(17,437 posts)i saw someone say that the IRS had their new address and they had not informed the IRS of the change. They didn't have a clue how the IRS got the new address.

(84 posts)It won't recognize the address if you do. Just street number and apt. number.

(84 posts)The only thing I did differently/successfully this time was used Dr instead of Drive. The address check is what's causing this, I'm pretty sure. It's a horrible design.

(25,316 posts)I legally live on Abcdef St (no period after St - Street is not the legal name)
The legal address for the apt complex will be with the appraisal district.
This may or may not work cuz I have no idea whether the IRS communicates with appraisal districts and it still works for me if I put "street" or "st." in my address.

(11,421 posts)telling me my SS#, my date of birth and my address don't match. None of that has changed in decades. You can bet that the direct deposits to the corporations and businesses don't have any glitches.

(6,280 posts).... are both drawing Social Security retirement and we are getting paper checks. We both fall into the 10 to $20,000 income range so our checks were scheduled to be mailed on May 1st. Looks like we may be getting our paper checks before some people get their direct deposit.
If you earned $10,000 or less your check would have been mailed on April 24th. 20 to $30,000 income would go out on May 7th, and so on.

(23,632 posts)and i checked it last nite too, still said it needed my '18 and '19 tax info
adjusted gross income, refund or payment amount etc
i am on SS direct deposit and was told initially i had to do NOTHING, but the site always said it needed my tax info ... i did '18 online, on my phone and do not have that info, and i HAD to have that info to proceed to put in bank info, or it
would not continue... and also said if i didn't have info would mail check to address on file, but didn't give me the option to say just mail the damn check !
again, am on SS direct deposit, and today it finally said a check would be mailed
May 08
for some reason i am not confident it will arrive
