22. One of the things I got from my Father's estate was a Spiro Agnew medal

Commemorating Vice President Spiro Agnew in 1968. Funny as hell since he had to resign in disgrace. Apparently it is sort of rare but has little value. Most of the medals with Agnew also have Nixon on them. In all my internet research, I've only found one photo of a single one like the one I have, on some Pinterest collection.

I have no idea where Dad got it - maybe from a fiance of my sisters. She was engaged to a guy from Maryland at the time of the 1968 election. She dumped him soon after, but Dad had asked what his opinion of Agnew as Governor during a visit. I wouldn't be surprised if that guy had given Dad the medal to curry favor with his possible father in law.

Funny thing is, Mom & Dad voted for George Wallace that election.
