Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves (R) backtracked on his plans to slowly reopen the local economy after health officials reported the highest single-day increase in coronavirus cases on Friday and new deaths since the state’s first detected case in March, ABC News reports.

Said Reeves: “Things can change quickly. We have to stay flexible. Today, I was prepared to announce further reopenings. That was the plan and I was excited to get more of our people back to work. This was a large enough change to make me take a step back… and I have come to the conclusion that I must hold on for now.”

What? Leading the lambs to slaughter doesn't look so good all of a sudden? No human sacrifices?

Even a moron can understand the increase in vectors now and how that could play out exponentially and in a very short time.

You better start doing something about a stimulus for the people you are trying to "get back to work", (for the sake of your corporate puppet masters and wealthy, vested interests) real quick and tell the Senators of the 4th Reich that the people HAVE to be bailed out or you have more than a pandemic on your hands. You can count on that!

Right now, the red robots with nothing to do are taking it out on their state governments and even their fellow citizens. They are standing there with a vile intent with automatic weapons meant to intimidate their fellow Americans by showing the intent. Encouraging that by way of AstroTurf political moves is not going to quell their anger and potential for violence, so some bromides and palliatives are going to be absolutely necessary or it's anybody's guess how this turns out.

Oh, and I hear that what I have said is crucial up there is not even on the table right now? What??? You people must be crazy or you want this. No damage control, huh?
