and/or sexual harrassment?

(5,387 posts)trump supporters expect trump to harass and assault women, and would happily bring their own daughters and wives to him for that purpose.

(2,343 posts)But, how many are high quality, unwelcome, well-established accusations? By that, I mean contemporaneous reports to police, friends, relatives, medical providers, psychologists, etc that were documented before the alleged perpetrator became well-known (if unknown at the time of the occurence) or before such an allegation could de-rail a significant event (e.g. an election, etc).
A pattern of behavior such as we have with Trump is important.
We should expect going forward that politicians will be accused of being cads, especially because they can be effective cards to play in elections.
I'm just tired of charges--espcially old and hard-to-prove ones--being lobbed into political circus, just like Ms. Reades'. Dr. Blasey-Ford's accusations, while very nearly successful in dooming Kavanaugh, were pretty weak sauce.
I believe many men have done some bad shit to women, and a lot of those interactions end up being "he-said-she said". And the vast, vast percentage can never be proven, but end up being deemed true depending on the participants' politics. But, this throwing every conceivable sexual wrong in a politican's past against the wall to see if it sticks is wearisome.
