It is not that they are just passive about people dying, it is a pivotal policy of Trump Nazism
In a myriad of different ways, they actively seek to cause harm and death to those that they consider ‘weak’ or ‘other’ or ‘inferior’ or ‘lacking in Trumps ‘perfect genes’’ as he likes to put it. The Rand philosophy of some being superior to others has been hard wired in the GOP over the last 50 years and has enabled some, who have yet to transition to full on death cult Nazi hate, too at least turn a blind eye to active policies that KILL people. We know that the GOP has always ignored the well being of the poor, sick, and weak. But Trump has taken this shit to real on Nazi levels and if they continue to remain silent, they will, in the end, be collaborators in genocide.
We know Trump has a kill list. It goes something like this:

As it turns out when Trump said, "I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States ... " He really did mean execute, and it turns out he meant to execute more than we could have imagined possible. Given another four years, it is unthinkable who may well end up the kill list next.
