My $2 an hour 'hero' raise expires tomorrow

...wonder if my company still thinks I'm "a hero at time when our shoppers and communities need us most," as their notification read a month ago?

Nothing's really changed. The stress and effort needed to keep ourselves safe while we keep their busy store stocked hasn't gone anywhere. The risk is still everpresent. Hopefull they'll reconsider this. After all, business is booming, and their profits are rising.

In fact, if they really value us, the raise should be permanent. We help keep their company afloat in this crisis, customers and workers, alike, and beyond.
