It's the same every evening

12,2,4,6 am. Sometimes there is shouting involved, like last night. Toss, turn, up back to sleep, wake up shouting "shut it down". As I
make my way to the bathroom, I'm muttering what the end game is.

So, what is it? At first what seemed logical and easy to understand suddenly becomes something very frightening. We are not staying home to protect ourselves really, everyday becomes more clear eventually you will catch it and your body will react however it does.
Right now people are being forced back into exposing themselves to restart economy. What hell is this?? I don't see things being safe
anytime soon. I'm not willing to be a sacrificial lamb, and it's horrifying this is how our country decides to deal with it.

I had been writing in a journal just to keep things in perspective, but after all this happened, I quit writing. Yesterday, I decided it would be good therapy to write in my journal again, and when I brought it up, I was surprised to find my last entry was on February 17. Apparently, I had had a dream that was so weird and so real that I had written 3 pages about it. It was a dream that I died. Needless to say, I tried to write about what was going on in my life and the world as it is today, but it got to be so depressing I had to give it up after a couple paragraphs. Weird, huh.

I don't see this ending anytime soon. I just wish I didn't have to drink a ton of whiskey to get a good night's sleep.
