Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley asks the attorney for Republicans

“What kind of chaos would exist if this court simply said the order is unlawful and that’s it? What are the ramifications for the people of this state, both north and south of Highway 29?”

Conservative justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court are casting doubt about the power of Evers' health secretary to issue an order closing most nonessential businesses in the state.

Assistant Attorney General Colin Roth said “people will die” if the order is repealed

Justice Rebecca Bradley had some sharp questions, saying she did not think the state health secretary had the power to compel people to remain at home and force businesses to close.

A Republican justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court literally just compared that state's stay-at-home order to Korematsu and Japanese internment camps.

Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley, a Republican, just described the governor's stay-at-home order as "the very definition of tyranny."

This Wisconsin Supreme Court Zoom is an absolute shitshow. Republican justices are dog-piling with partisan questions, not letting colleagues get a word in edgewise. They are not even letting the DHS representative finish responses. This is how Democracy dies. Sickening. #covid19

And Wisconsin's Republican chief justice just dismissed a coronavirus flare up because it only impacted people who work in meat packing plants and not "the regular folks."
