https://www.rawstory.com/2020/05/wisconsin-gop-judge-covid-19-is-spreading-due-to-meat-packing-workers-and-not-regular-folks/?utm_source=push_notificationsThe Republican Chief Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court on Tuesday said that COVID-19 is only spreading through people in meat-packing plants and not the regular folks who work elsewhere.
During a hearing about Wisconsin Gov. Tony Everss stay-at-home orders, Chief Justice Patience D. Roggensack downplayed concerns about the virus sweeping across the state by claiming it was limited to certain areas.
Due to the meat-packing, though, thats where Brown County got the [COVID-19] flare, she said. It wasnt just the regular folks in Brown County.
Yeah it is apparently "those brown people" at the meat packing plant. You cannot make up this shit.

(617 posts)Wisconsin is the only state in the nation that does not require in-state graduates to pass a bar exam. That explains it

(10,167 posts)the National Bar Association does not require an additional Bar exam. It's based on entrance requirements and the curriculum for that campus only.

(10,167 posts)I don't know of any of our other UW campuses that offer law degrees.
Marquette, a private Catholic University, now boasts the same standards as Madison and their graduates are also admitted to the Bar upon graduation. That was not the case when I went to grad school at Madison. Madison was the only campus that met the criteria.

I did not opine on the quality of legal education from Wisconsin law schools. I simply stated that the State of Wisconsin will license any graduate from any Wisconsin law school w/o requiring a bar examination. That has been a fact for years.

Now covid 19 is something only brown people get? It makes sense that there were confederate and nazi flags in the reopen astro turfed protests.

(11,495 posts)the "stupid" virus that has taken over the Republican Party. It seems to turn their brains into mush, and cause them to say the dumbest things you ever heard. The current belief is it has been around for years spreading but once trump took office, it kicked into high gear affecting some 99%, or more, of republicans.
The only hope for a cure is VOTING trump out of office, and that still might not work!
