Wartime president. Fighting to save the economy. All Americans pitch in to do their part by risking death to save the country. A real we're all in this together tale that's pure bullshit.

But it's still the tale of glory Trump is hoping to spin. With all credit given to him, of course.

Trump has rearviewed all things Covid 19. Having declared victory over the coronavirus - giving himself high marks and nothing but praise for his efforts - Trump will now encourage all to champion him as the only one who can save the economy.
