(58,785 posts)of AR, and since admission is free (though not to the special exhibits) I've added a stroll through to my traipsing around town a few times.
They're far to big for the planet's good, of course. Glad Christy's weighing in against Trump, trumpian destabilization on top of Republican destabilization a huge threat to profits, though it'd be too much to expect she isn't also trying to keep corrupt Republicans in control of government.

(3,696 posts)While that puts her in their group of "biggest donors" I expected her donation to be much larger. They produced some impressive ads even though they have only raised $2 million dollars. They'll probably see more donations as people become familiar with their work. I follow Rick Wilson so I knew about the group's work early. Wilson also produced some awesome ads for Doug Jones's Senate race. And yes Rick Wilson is/was a republican but still doing good work in the Trump era.

(2,520 posts)It's all about the money and profits the company will see or lose. Not a donation in republican eyes, an investment. Never trust republicans.

(4,533 posts)She only gave 20,000 to Lincoln Project but has given away about 20% of her wealth. She has a big investment in First Solar which makes solar panels, and her son, her only child, majored in environmentally sustainable business.

(58,785 posts)She donates overwhelmingly Republican, but is seemingly relatively moderate -- if it's possible to wield that much power from the right and yet not effectively be among the extremists who've taken over the Republican Party. I can't imagine what it'd be like to be in her position, living a life that must be like taking the pulse of the world.
