Oh, btw, don't forget to pay up that legal fee you'll get when you bring the suit. Don't worry, you'll get the money back from China. lol

What the rightwing people are failing to realize is that a percentage of people in this country consume wild animals. Could the 1918 pandemic have been started by Hunters in Kansas consuming harvested wildlife?

We should take China to task for being secretive once they first saw the problem, even if they were being secretive because they couldn't get a grip on it and didn't want to look stupid - we can work with them to get a process in place where it is ok to ask for outside help, but trying to sue that country isn't the way to start the development of that process.

Modern AG science is much better, the risk of the type of transmission that caused 1918 is much lower now.

....Within the camp were thousands of horses and mules that produced a stifling nine tons of manure each month. The accepted method of disposing of the manure was to burn it, an unpleasant task made more so by the driving wind. On Saturday, March 9, 1918, a threatening black sky forecast the coming of a significant dust storm. The dust, combining with the ash of burning manure, kicked up a stinging, stinking yellow haze. The sun was said to have gone dead black in Kansas that day.

Some, looking for a point of origin of the so-called Spanish influenza that would eventually take the lives of 600,000 Americans, point to that day in Kansas. Shortly before breakfast on Monday, March 11, the first domino would fall signaling the commencement of the first wave of the 1918 influenza. Company cook Albert Gitchell reported to the camp infirmary with complaints of a “bad cold.” Right behind him came

What people like her are trying to do with the nonsense they are pushing is force democrats to be the adults and stop them. Once democrats step in, republicans can accuse democrats of being soft on China, and republicans will use that in the Fall to smear Biden and democratic officeholders or officeseekers.

But she has proven to be very adept at mouthing the company line, if Mitch tells her something, she runs with it. Blame China has been installed in their Fall playbook, they want to excite MAGATS and/or force democrats to inject sanity, only to have republicans call them soft on China.
