Update on manhunt of teen who killed brother in Keys.

Just now heard that he jumped in front of a car , was severely injured and airlifted to Miami.

Horrible sad tragedy.

He and his brother were adopted by a man when they were little. No mother in the picture. His father is in intensive care in critical condition because he was also stabbed.

Such sad news this morning, was hoping for some better outcome tonight. What a tragedy for that family.

Went to school with my grandson and his schoolmates said he was a very smart kid but got involved with drugs a few years back and totally changed.

Small town feel there in the Keys with such a sense of community - I can only imagine the shock and sadness your grandson and all the kids from school are feeling. I am only a few counties above and yet it has affected me like it was in my own back yard. Sending hugs to you all.

I discussed it with my friends earlier today and we all had the same feeling that even though the kid did a horrible thing he had to have sobered up from his drug usage from last night and realized what he had done and been in disbelief and agony to make him step in front of a car. Horrible crime but still a 17-year-old kid. We all felt heartsick for the father and for him.
