I've got news for those guys

who want old folks and the most vulnerable among us to sacrifice ourselves so the economy can reopen. Guess what, boys? We aren't the ones who are going to go to restaurants and barber shops and retail stores. We're all staying home, no matter how "open" our states are. You're going to kill the real consumers, those delicious 35-50 year olds who are still spending money. We're living on savings, social security and pensions, so we aren't going to go out to work. We already have places to live and cars to drive. We buy groceries and medications, and grocery stores and pharmacies have been open all along.

So go sacrifice yourselves, assholes.

Seniors are not going out to eat as much. Whenever i went out to eat there was always a lot of grey and blue hair sensors. That is gone whether they open or not. Seniors use to spend money out, on food, travel, Vacation homes, gas, lodging etc. No more. But then there are Fox seniors who have no idea whats going on.

While they plan to reopen. According to the news here, they're spacing the slot machines farther apart and they're going to allow fewer players at the table games. I'm assuming they won't allow nearly as many people into the casino. They'll probably have them open by June, maybe by Memorial Day weekend.

My wife and I also go for a daily walk where we know we won't encounter other people. That's about it, and we are prepared to continue this way long-term if necessary.

We have a regular doctor that knows our medical needs.

We have money coming in. We won’t be fired if we don’t go back to work.

We like gardening and fishing. Both need no other people.

We even have a pool. We can stay at home for a very long time.

My job is the very worst for this disease. Waiting on people, about three feet distance, people from all over the world and a lot from both states either side of Oregon. I could not have a job that puts me more in the virus way. Hence, not going back to work at 60. At this point, bosses understand. GM wrote on my linkedin anniversary what a valued employee I was a couple days ago, so seems like they are still ok with me.
