Cell phone video justice

Someone here asked about the likelihood of getting a video clip of a crime in progress.

A couple of months ago I was filling up at a gas station. There were some white officers having words with a young black man. As their voices rose I reached for my cell phone... not to call police, but to video if it became necessary. As I looked around there were a half dozen other people doing the same thing...

The situation did get resolved, but if they had gotten out of hand there would have been video of it from a half dozen angles.
