A friend of mine got one, a couple days ago, through Labcorp:

His result was negative. He wanted a test because he had fever and ache symptoms in January.

(12,051 posts)this at the local LabCorp. I had symptoms in early February and when all the furor started, I reflected on that brief 'cold' I had back then. It was mild, but for 3 days I had a whanging headache, a VERY sore throat (could barely swallow), and fatigue. Then I had a cough for about a week. I remember mentioning to my husband that my cold was such a WEIRD one -- I felt very strange, the headache was very odd, etc., and it didn't feel anything like an everyday cold or flu. The sore throat and headache weren't even official symptoms until very recently, so that makes me even more interested in a test.
Of course, this means I have to walk into a LabCorp facility --

(1,939 posts)And got a blood draw. Friend got the lab order from Labcorps first. The medical center sent the blood sample to Labcorps. The medical center kicked up a fuss at first, "no tests available" blah blah, then they called Labcorps and got it sorted out. We live in a very rural area, so there's just the basics as far as medical facilities. However, they can draw blood!
