For any DUers who might be traveling in the future

https://www.businessinsider.com/white-house-airport-temperature-checks-despite-cdc-warning-2020-5

snip:
The Trump administration reportedly ignored guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention over temperature screenings at airports and plans to go ahead with them, even though they were ineffective in initially preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the US.

Bogus security theater to lure people back to the airports. Completely reprehensible and predictable by Red Don and his stooges.

"Despite Cetron's warning, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows reportedly directed the DHS push forward on the screening measures anyway, according to meeting notes. The temperature checks would be meant to instill confidence in travelers, he said, USA Today reported." And there you have it. It doesn't work, but it's meant to make people think it's safe to travel even though it isn't.
