It's pretty bad when our idiot makes Boris Johnson appear intelligent.

Context: Boris Johnson continuing stay at home guidelines for those who can, and "stay alert" guidelines for those who must leave the home for work.

last I read in the Guardian, the word is there is no proof that the masks help. Meanwhile, their numbers keep going up!! I just don't get it. Isn't it better to be safe than sorry? I don't know why they are not mandatory at this point. Not sure who, in that country, makes these decisions to inform the public. At least they all love the NHS though!

I think the masks are required simply to make the general public feel better. Certainly the info I've read on this virus and surgical and cloth masks has not shown they are very helpful to wear.

More people out and about where I live because of the almighty not so worthy masks, though.
