Don Winslow: When they go low

Don Winslow
@donwinslow

If you want win in November...

When they go low, you drop the fucking hammer on them so hard that they don't try that bullshit ever again.

You humiliate Trump and take him apart like a Lego set.

And if you're not prepared to do that, buckle up for another four years of Trump.

"When they go low, we go high."

How many times did we hear Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama and Elizabeth Warren and others say that during the 2016 campaign?

It was very noble, but every time I heard them say that, I always thought, "But if we only ever go high, the low doesn't get answered! It doesn't get responded to! And it NEEDS to be responded to! We shouldn't be just allowing that garbage to stay there, festering in the American consciousness, POLLUTING the American consciousness!"

If I could have spoken to Hillary or Michelle or Elizabeth then, that's what I would have told her!

Yes, you're absolutely right, this time we need to ANSWER this stuff!

You don't go to war and play nice if you plan to get out of there alive. And now, it really is a matter of life or death.

"high" means "with moral authority", "from a great height to obtain and exert great force", "with high power".

Bill Clinton beat Dole in 96 by blasting away every false flag Dole tried to plant. The same goes for President Obama beating McCain in 08 and Romney in 12.

It has been stated that Hillary's team ignored the observations of President Clinton, choosing to run her race their way. I honestly believe that they made a number of disastrous tactical errors that allowed the race to be close. One thing that seriously bothered me during both the primary against Sanders and the General against Trump was the amount of time Hillary took off the campaign trail, that played into the Trump campaign lies that she was sick and it also made it appear that Trump was out-working her.

I believe Joe will come out of his corner with gloves a-blazing! He's shown that in many appearances in the past and he'll simply match tone with Putrid Orange. And there will be no need for excuses when Donnie spews first.

However, Joe has kept at a very respectful and honorable level in his recent speeches, responses, and interview - and in doing that looks just SO MUCH MORE "presidential" - a person you would be proud of to have representing the United States in the world community.

We need a designated "pit bull" - someone who will go out there and match their "spoon-slinging" shit with a "shovel-full" right back.

As was stated earlier - we did NOT have someone answering their "go-low." We need to this time.

Gloves off - game on!

Biden let trump lurk behind him during a debate either. trump is scared of running against a man like Joe. (or any man) trump will not be able to do the power trip over Biden like he does with women.

Complaints about republicans taking people off the voting role and making it hard for people to register. The people that mention that act like it is a major barrier, it isn't.

If they have a list of people who will be eliminated from the roles, our side need to get the fucking list and contact every democrat on it pronto. If they set requirement that only those having hunting licenses or NASCAR passes can register to vote, our voters need to get fucking hunting licenses and NASCAR passes. Once we go into the voting booth, go in there to take their fucking heads off. Once we have power, reverse every fucking unconstitutional thing they did.

It's going high with an iron fist and smashing the orange mushroom's Gang to pieces. Smashing Greed Over People to pieces.

Aim to annihilate tRump's machine and his minions. Maybe than it will be a solid uncontested win. And annihilating the G.O.P. is still possible.

tRump needs to be made an example of to get Biden elected, after Biden is elected, and after Biden is inaugurated.

If by going low we expose them as the lowlife greedy pigs they are, let's do it. If Trump attacks one of us, we attack his attack, we disassemble it in print and in video, tear it apart and show how only a pathetic, narcissistic buffoon would do and say whatever it is he said or did.

I would draw the line at actually lying. But, in my defense, there is so much ugliness in Trump and in his followers, that there is no need to lie. Ever. Pillory him with his own words. Pillory him with his own actions. Don't get cute about "the administration" did this or that evil nasty thing. Say it was Trump. He's the so-called leader. If it happens on his watch, it's his responsibility. Every media outlet needs to preface its daily news reports by showing the death toll from covid-19 and inserting the infamous quote "I take no responsibility at all." at the end. Then every media needs to interview at least one victimized family, get their feelings, show their sorrow and grief, and, again, run that quote from Trump: "I take no responsibility at all."

And every time he or Bill Barr makes a public claim that the president is above the law or has powers and authority not actually given him by the constitution, lets headline that quote and follow it with an expert explaining why it is not so.

And never forget or forgive Melania's "I don't care at all, do you?" moment or Ivanka's video showing her love for her children on the very same day the caging of innocent children by her father was being used "as a deterrent."

Etc., etc., etc.

Just sayin'
