4. I'm pissed

I’m wearing a mask all day at work and will for the foreseeable future, and we are surveillance swabbing everyone prior to procedures if they’ve been out into the community, my immunosuppressed patient today had her forth swab due to rehospitalizations.

I hate doing covid swabs. Hate it. It’s miserably uncomfortable for people and it’s not going away.

Then these thuggish people, waited until states and businesses started their opening up phases to throw their big fucking baby “ooo look at me I have a weapon” fits. Not at the beginning of everything, oh no. Too busy buying up toilet paper. Assholes.

They’re making it clear they’re not going to help, just hinder any kind of recovery.

Every time I have to jab a small bristle back toward someone’s brain who did nothing but try to be as healthy as they can, I get angry all over at the whole situation.

I don’t wish illness on anyone, exactly, but it sure seems some people need to understand what’s it like, when trying to take a breath feels like breathing through a coffee stirrer straw.

5. When I saw the photo of a crowded restaurant

somewhere, full of people without masks taking their mothers out to eat, I really realized just how stupid some people are being during this pandemic. They took their mothers to a Petri dish and exposed them to a disease that can be fatal and that is highly infectious! I mean, really, how stupid can people be?

There will be infections coming out of that restaurant setting, I guarantee.
